For 131 years, St. Peter Claver Catholic School has stood in the heart of Tampa as a place of faith, learning, and opportunity. Generations of families have passed through our doors, and today we continue to serve students with the same commitment to excellence and community.
Our neighborhood is transforming. New families are moving in, state-of-the-art buildings are rising, and walkable streets are creating a vibrant, connected community. As our surroundings grow and change, we want to ensure our historic school remains both secure and welcoming for every child and family who steps onto our campus.
That’s why we are launching the Legacy Fence Project—a beautiful brick and iron fence that will enhance our campus, provide added safety, and reflect the dignity of our 131-year mission.
The Cost & Our Goal
The estimated cost of the fence is between $300,000 and $350,000. While this is a significant investment, we believe it is a necessary step to honor our past and secure our future. With your help, we can make it possible.

Support Our Legacy Launchpad Tutoring Program (click photo to give)
The St. Peter Claver Tutoring Program provides comprehensive academic support for students in grades 3–8, focusing on strengthening foundational skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Designed for remediation, acceleration, high school and college readiness, the program ensures that struggling learners receive targeted support while advanced learners are challenged and prepared for higher-level academic pathways.
As a central component of the Legacy Launchpad initiative, this tutoring program is built on three core pillars:
Strong Relationships, Content Relevance, and Adaptive Rigor.
By fostering strong student–teacher relationships and using dynamic instructional methods, we create an environment where every learner feels seen, supported, and capable of success.
