PT Administrative Assistant

St. Peter Claver Catholic School seeks an Administrative Assistant to provide important support to the Director of Philanthropy and School Psychologist. St. Peter Claver Catholic School is a parochial school that has been educating students from 3 years old until 8th grade since 1894. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary of faith, hope and love where each child is prepared for their future in a supportive learning environment centered around God and nourished through Sacrament and Word! 

The ideal candidate will be able to maintain confidentiality of donor and student records, well-organized, detail-oriented and handle changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain donor database according to philanthropy best practices, including data entry of gifts received and event attendance.
  • Prepare written and email correspondence, including donor thank you letters and stewardship updates to donors.
  • Pull mailing lists, complete mail merges in Donor Perfect database.
  • Support, coordinate and schedule meetings, include Advisory Board agendas, meeting setup and taking notes at Board meetings.
  • Work with Bookkeeper to reconcile donations monthly.
  • Assist with identifying and creating stories for newsletter and social media outlets.
  • Editing student support plans and data entry for School Psychologist.

Aftercare Programming Staff

Start Date: As soon as possible

St. Peter Claver Catholic School located in Tampa, Florida is actively seeking candidates as After Care Programming Staff for the current school year. St. Peter Claver Catholic School is a parochial school that has been educating students from 3 years old until 8th grade since 1894. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary of faith, hope and love where each child is prepared for their future in a supportive learning environment centered around God and nourished through Sacrament and Word! The school successfully serves approximately 200 students.

The candidate must successfully complete a Level II background screening. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess a commitment to Catholic education and be passionate about working with inner city children. This position will be responsible for preparing and implementing after care programming including but not limited to sports, cheerleading, and dance. Experience in coaching football, basketball, cheerleading and dance is a plus. This position works Monday - Friday from 3pm to 6pm. Some full days may be worked during school breaks and holidays. Other areas of programming are also encouraged.
