Charles D. Imbergamo
Charles Imbergamo is a native of New York. He began his career in education in Marist Brothers’ Schools in New York and New Jersey. In 1999, Charlie began his administrative career on the border of the US and Mexico in Brownsville, Texas where he served as assistant principal, principal, and president and CEO for ten years in middle and high school.
In 2009, he moved north to Corpus Christi, TX to serve in the administration of a PK3-grade 12 school as Curriculum Director and eventually president and CEO. Charlie holds a Masters Degree in Catholic School Leadership/School Administration and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, CFRE. During his career he has raised in excess of $15 Million dollars for Catholic schools. Charlie also serves as an independent consultant to schools across the country.
He relocated to the Tampa Bay area in July to serve as the Founding President of Cristo Rey Tampa High School at Mary Help of Christians Center. Cristo Rey schools across the country serve low-income students in a collaborative program of rigorous academics and corporate work student internship. This innovative, private Catholic school model is growing across the country, providing the very best of private education to those who simply would not qualify (economically) for the opportunity.
